Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Introduction

PayDirect ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our programmable crypto settlement infrastructure, APIs, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
  • API Usage Data: API call logs, request/response metadata, and usage metrics for service operation and billing.
  • Payment Metadata: Payment amounts, currencies, descriptions, and custom metadata fields you provide when creating payments.
  • Blockchain Data: Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and settlement confirmations associated with payments.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, and device information for security and service improvement.

3. How We Use Information

  • Processing and settling payments via blockchain networks
  • Providing API access and developer tools
  • Sending webhook notifications for payment events
  • Maintaining audit trails and settlement receipts
  • Preventing fraud and ensuring security
  • Improving our Service and developing new features
  • Communicating service updates and changes

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. API keys are hashed at rest. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3. We do not store sensitive financial credentials. Webhook payloads are signed cryptographically to prevent tampering.

5. Blockchain Data

Please note that blockchain transactions are inherently public. Once a payment is settled on-chain, transaction details (wallet addresses, amounts, timestamps) are publicly visible on the respective blockchain. PayDirect does not control or have the ability to delete on-chain data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Blockchain networks (for settlement processing)
  • Infrastructure providers (for service hosting and operation)
  • Legal authorities (when required by law or to prevent fraud)

7. Data Retention

We retain account and payment data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and audit purposes. API usage logs are retained for 90 days. You may request data deletion by contacting us, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Analytics cookies may be used to improve the Service, and you can opt out via your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
